God of War: Ascension has been having an open beta for PlayStation Plus subscribers over the past couple of weeks, and while it gave fans of God of War a glimpse of the multiplayer aspects of the game, it didn’t feature any parts of the traditional single player experience. Well, Sony Santa Monica will also be offering up a single player demo for God of War: Ascension this February. Since much of the press surrounding God of War: Ascension has focused on the multiplayer elements of the game, we’ve heard very little about what to expect from the game....

God of War is quite an old style action adventure game when it comes to secrets and easter eggs to be found by the players themselves along the road, and it seems it still has something to say on that topic. During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, indeed, creative director Cory Barlog has revealed there’s still a big easter egg that the community hasn’t managed to discover since day one....

A new program has been added to the DRM-free gaming platform called GOG, and this one is all about letting you get DRM-free versions of games you have on other platforms. It’s called GOG Connect, and it allows you to get DRM-free versions of qualifying games in your Steam library. The setup is pretty easy, as all you have to do is connect your Steam account to GOG and add the games that are eligible to your GOG library....

Google took the wraps off its first-ever 5G enabled Pixel phones, Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, mere hours ago. But, if you are someone who had been waiting to hear about the launch date of the vanilla Pixel 4a in India, it seems you are in luck, my friend. When Google launched the Pixel 4a back in August earlier this year, it confirmed that we will see this mid-range smartphone arrive in India in October....

Epic readying a new weapon against Fortnite campers. Epic Games is adding yet another weapon to Fortnite Battle Royale called the Stink Bomb. Revealed in the New Updates section of the in-game news tab, the Stink Bomb should be arriving in an upcoming update. The Stink Bomb description makes it sound like a gas grenade that will be familiar to what’s found in other games. When thrown, the Stink Bomb will explode into a cloud on impact and slowly damage anyone inside....

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is here. The Mothership has been brought down, and wreckage has been scattered across the island. Even more interestingly, Kevin the cube is back, in both pink and blue form. The map has seen some changes because of the Sky Fire event, but nothing as dramatic as a full map change up, sadly. At the moment, it is safe to say we will be playing on the current map until the end of Chapter 2, and it will go through some changes each season but nothing too dramatic....

One of the quest challenges of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is “Bust through a Door at Cloudy Condos and No Sweat Insurance,” which is a straightforward task but tricky if players do not know where these two locations are. Completion of this objective will reward participants with 20,000 XP, which is a generous amount to boost progression in the new Battle Pass, which features a host of new seasonal rewards....

There are 40 NPCs scattered throughout the map. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has added NPCs to the island, letting you pick up missions and bounties to earn Gold Bars while you play. These bars can be exchanged for rare items and resources, so it’s a good idea to stock up. Each Fortnite NPC has a specific location where they can be found, although some of them have multiple spawn points on the map....

In an unfortunate turn of events, split-screen function in Fortnite has been temporarily disabled due to an “issue.” The decision probably comes at an upsetting time for players who prefer to play together on the same couch. The split-screen was introduced to Fortnite in the latest patch, version 11.30. It only worked on the Duos and Squads modes, and only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The patch notes for 11....

We are onto the seventh week of Fortnite’s Chapter 2: Season 4, and we’ve got ten more coins to collect around the map. These coins are a bit more difficult to locate, because they are kind of deeper in the different areas where they are found. The gold coin is deep in the basement of Doctor Doom’s domain on the map. There’s a Gnome that needs to be broken in Sweaty Sands, and he’s in-between the buildings behind a dumpster!...

Much like last year, Gamescom 2022 has been announced as a hybrid in-person and online event, scheduled to run from August 24 — August 28. The Hyperion Dirge is a new world quest available in Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact Version 2.4, available after you unlock the Evernight and Whitenight feature of Enkanomiya. Before starting this quest, make sure to set the time of day to “Evernight.” Teleport to the waypoint located in the middle of Dainichi Mikoshi, and drop off from behind the building. You’ll come across an indent of the building guarded by a couple of fire torches and Ruin Guards....

The Iron Sting is a free-to-play 4-star weapon available to all players. While there is no special unlock requirement, obtaining the actual weapon itself will require some grinding. That’s because the sword requires a Northlander Sword Billet, only available through weekly boss drops or as quest/exploration rewards. Once you obtain a Northlander Sword Billet, you can use it to forge either the Iron Sting or Prototype Rancour. You should craft the Iron Sting if you have a sword character who focuses on creating elemental reactions or use Elemental Mastery in their kit....
