Between unexplored realms like Svartalfheim and fire-and-ice elemental attacks, God of War Ragnarok will have a lot of new experiences for players when it releases in a few months. There will also be new gods for Kratos to face, and we’re going to get a good look at them soon. As announced on the PlayStation Blog, Ragnarok will be getting a Family Portrait Series: five pieces of art from five artists, each one rendering a number of characters from the games....

Epic Games recently added the Avian Ambush Week Quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, and players can complete these challenges to earn more XP. Season 1 is coming to a conclusion soon, and completing these challenges will help players level up their battle pass. There are seven challenges in the Avian Ambush Week Quest, and all of them are related to Chickens. Players will find a new variant of wildlife called Loot Chickens, and they drop better loot than normal ones....

We are somehow already halfway through Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, meaning weekly challenges have become even more crucial for finishing out the Battle Pass. The latest batch of quests delivered by Week 6 certainly aren’t the easiest thus far. From mantling, gaining air time, to even throwing cabbage, here’s everything you’ll be looking to achieve this week. Like the weeks before it, Week 6 holds seven challenges that reward 20,000 XP a piece, ultimately lending you the opportunity to gain 140,000 XP in total....

A recent discovery on the official Fortnite Competitive account revealed an old game mode that will be making a comeback in a couple of days. Fortnite players have been blessed with tons of content this season, and even though we are a few weeks away from the season’s end, the developers are still bringing more exciting additions....

The mysterious Rogue Spider Knight that leaked a while back has been confirmed for an upcoming Xbox bundle. According to the leak this bundle will be available on September 24th, 2019. This is a whole Xbox Console bundle, so you’d need to purchase an Xbox One S to receive it. If you really want the skin and already have an Xbox or don’t want one, this will likely end up being part of a cheaper pack in the future....

This event, Fractured: Entrenched, splits itself into 4 weeks in which you can compete for and win fantastic customization options to create your ideal Spartan. The challenge features a brand new mode, aptly named Entrenched, which feels like a middle ground between Strongholds and King of the Hill, and players are always happy to have new ways to duke it out online....

Developer Naraven Games and All in! Games appeared during this year’s Gamescom to unveil the Gameplay Trailer for Backfirewall (stylized as Backfirewell_). It’s an upcoming first-person puzzler where you play as an update assistant for a phone. In short, you must halt a system update, but not without some trouble along the way. You’ll need to make pulls for duplicates if you plan to unlock constellations. Genshin Impact has a large cast of playable characters, and their constellations each consist of six powerful passives. Unlike talents, constellations are not unlocked from direct gameplay, and if you were hoping to entirely avoid the gacha mechanics that make up the backbone of the game then I’ve got bad news for you. Genshin Impact constellations are unlocked by pulling duplicate characters (main character excluded)....

A brand new quest is now live for the newest Genshin Impact event, Lost in the Snow. This quest will continue the storyline of Albedo’s mysterious impostor as you track the being down while exploring Dragonspine. Begin the quest by heading back to Albedo’s lab. After catching up, you’ll investigate a noise in the distance. You’ll find Eula, Bennett, and Amber have been caught up in some bad luck and stuck in an avalanche for a few days....

Genshin Impact, the upcoming open-world action RPG from miHoYo will be holding its final closed beta test on July 2, with a focus on testing cross-play functionality between different platforms. The game will support cross-play across all platforms, from mobile devices to PC and consoles. As such, it might be best to expect some teething problems during the course of this beta, as it is more of a technical stress-test than a demo....

The Genshin Impact Lantern Rite event has arrived! Genshin Impact has had a host of events over the years since its release. One particular event that gains a lot of traction is the Lantern Rite event. The Lantern Rite event started on January the 25th and will continue until February the 12th at 3:59 for the server time. With all the challenges included for the event, it’s an excellent time to start going through everything that the event has to offer and collecting all of the rewards that are available for the challenges your character has to complete....

Will you push for the top score in these difficult domains? The Twisted Realm is a “new” domain in Genshin Impact, exclusive to the Energy Amplifier event. It’s similar to the Hypostasis event from earlier this year: you’ll select the challenge you want to take on, then tune the difficulty and modifiers to your liking in the pursuit of a high score. It can be tackled in coop, but you’ll need to manually form parties with either your friends or randoms (there’s no matchmaking for the Twisted Realm, which is a bummer)....

Get Even is a new game coming to Xbox One in 2015 from The Farm 51. In a teaser trailer titled “What is Real”, the developers take the wraps off the new game. The description for the recently released teaser trailer describes a little bit about the philosophy behind the game. “Eschewing the usual clichés and gung-ho settings currently inhabiting the FPS genre, Get Even subtlety removes the classic division between single-player and multiplayer experiences to unfold two linked stories....

Today marks the start of the long-awaited (at least for some) player-vs-player mode in Pokémon Go. In a new blog post, Niantic announced that the Go Battle League will start rolling out today, with high-level players being the first to get access to the new feature. According to Niantic, Go Battle League is officially in its preseason, with actual ranked seasons coming later, presumably once the League is available to everyone....

Compete in the Free Fortnite Cup for a chance to win. To commemorate their recently begun legal battle with Apple, Epic Games is hosting a Fortnite tournament called the Free Fortnite Cup that will reward winners with anti-Apple skins and other items from their Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite short that premiered earlier this month. While it’s a bit absurd that a legal battle between two gigantic corporations has been turned into an in-game event, there are still prizes and bragging rights to compete for even if you don’t care about the related lawsuit....

There’s a brand new message in-game in Fortnite: Battle Royale that teases the next weapon coming to the game, and it’s another shotgun. The Heavy Shotgun was previously added to the game’s files within the 3.2 update, and it’s described by Epic as having “increased range.” It will be available in Legendary and Epic varieties, according to Fortnite Intel. This is an interesting decision by Epic and it will surely be met with some resistance from the community, as Fortnite is already a game that can be dominated by shotguns....

Not too much going on in the Fortnite 9.30 Content Update #2 Patch! We’ve got the new Drum Shotgun that has a big magazine and will fire off a ton of rounds if you are able.
