Short Nite, Fortnite’s annual film festival, is back this weekend. There are 10 shorts in this year’s lineup, but one of them will take a little work on your part to watch. Announced on the Fortnite blog, Short Nite kicks off on Thursday, May 12 at 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT. To participate, head to the Short Nite section of the Discover tab. You’ll choose a short, and then be sent to a theater to watch your selection....

The grassroots organization Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) will be kicking off its 2022 charity event this weekend. The annual event is known for speed runs, gameplay showcases, and competitions. Sony Pictures and developer nDreams closed out the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase by announcing Ghostbusters VR, a cooperative multiplayer game where you’ll “track, blast, and trap ghosts in gripping encounters.” Toward the end of the show, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg teased the title before premiering the game’s reveal trailer. The in-engine trailer showed the eponymous Ghostbusters using PKE Meters to scan for ghosts, before being ambushed by one. No release date or window was provided, but the game is set to launch on the Meta Quest 2....
