Day-one patches are pretty much expected these days, and God of War Ragnarok is no exception. The game is epic in its storytelling and scale, but a bigger world also means more can go wrong. Fortunately, Sony Santa Monica has prepared a patch that fixes nearly 200 of those technical hiccups. As the patch notes page warns, quest and character names are included in the list, so be warned if you decide to read the entire thing....

The latest Fortnite 14 Days of Summer Challenge has players searching for giant beach balls and then bouncing them around the map for a unique reward. The only thing you’ll need to do for this challenge is bounce the beach ball five times, but it’ll need to be done in different matches. So where are the beach ball locations in Fortnite? There are three locations scattered around the map: South of The Block, Southwest of Dusty Divot near the Sky Platform, and northwest of Paradise Palms....

Fortnite has today deployed its 21.20 update on all platforms for the battle royale, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update brings out the long-anticipated introduction of Indiana Jones to the game. Fortnite’s 4.2 update is now available for download, just a little over 24 hours after its original deployment time. Fans expected to see the brand new Legendary and Epic variants of the Burst Assault Rifle in game on Tuesday, but an unspecified issue delayed the launch. Thankfully, all is clear now and the update is in the wild. The star of 4.2 is the aforementioned new Burst Rifle, which does 32 or 33 damage depending on its rarity....

Downtime expected at 4 A.M. on August 13th. Update: Epic Games says that last minute issues will delay the timing of the release of v10.10. The next Fortnite update is slated to arrive on Tuesday, August 14th. v10.10 will bring with it some downtime in the morning hours between 4 A.M. EST, Epic Games has not announced how long the expected downtime for Fortnite will last while the next patch is pushed through to the game....

Fortnite has officially launched its v17.20 patch, so here’s everything that’s been changed and added with this update. While nothing super exciting to talk about here, there are a few meaningful additions of note. Namely, the new Preferred Item Slots should let you spend less time organizing your inventory, and more time in battle or gathering loot. The new Arena mode, Bugha’s Late Game, should provide some nice things for players as well....

Season-to-season, Apex Legends changes the rotation of a few different things. The Care Package weapon pool and current Arenas maps are some big ones, but something that should not be overlooked is the Fully Kitted Weapon rotation. Fully Kitted Weapons, or Gold Weapons, come with attachments that are all pre-set and high-tier, and while most of the add-ons are locked to the weapon, weapons still have an interchangeable scope. These weapons are folly later on, as they are less customizable than other guns in the end game, but they give a huge advantage to players in early and mid-game....

The Labyrinth Warriors event sends you in a long spiraling dungeon, with the chance to gain buffs for your characters similar to a roguelike game. These dungeons can be filled with difficult fights, but there are several rewards to gain by doing so. The third stage is a continuation of the event, featuring new enemies and bosses to defeat. Like the other stages, this stage is run with two teams: one active party and one backup party....

The Mappa Mare is a free 4-star Catalyst available to all players. There isn’t any special unlock requirement, but crafting the weapon does require some grinding because the weapon requires a Northlander Catalyst Billet, only available through weekly boss drops or as quest/exploration rewards. Once you obtain a Northlander Catalyst Billet, you can use it to forge either the Prototype Amber or Mappa Mare. Mappa Mare is a niche weapon that is mostly outclassed by other options, and not many characters can use this one....
