The challenges for Fortnite Chapter 2 Week 6 have leaked, revealing what we will all be up to this week as we try to get that sweet XP for our Battle Pass, and get our hands on more items and skins. Each challenge is worth 35,000 XP, and all seven will give us a total of 245,000 XP when they are completed. They normally don’t take all that long to finish up, and the theme for this season seems to be that challenges are going to be pretty basic....

The Force is strong with this one. If new leaks are to be believed, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 might be a Star Wars themed season. This will be a massive shift from the current circumstances and we might get to see some otherworldly visitors on the island. Epic Games have never shied away from big collaborations and it looks like Fortnite x Star Wars was long overdue. This new collab could be similar to the Chapter 3 Season 1 Spider-Man partnership, with the developers adding new themed POIs and other changes....

If you decide you aren’t happy with your skin in Fortnite, you’ll now be able to file a request for a refund within 30 days of purchase, Epic announced today in a post on its site. Prior to this update, if players wanted to request a refund for a skin they had purchased, they had a lifetime limit. If you used them all up, then you would have to hang on to any skin you purchased no matter what, but with this new policy, you can ask for a refund up to three times a year....

Fornite is starting a new collaboration with Star Wars this week, called Skywalker Week. This new event will add the three main characters from the original trilogy: Luke, Leia, and Han Solo, all in their classic appearances. There will also be extra, unlockable content. One of the most highly anticipated sequels of this console generation, Kingdom Hearts III, will finally be released in January. Until then, Square Enix has been keeping fans’ attention with a series of trailers showing off the game’s various worlds. The folks at 11 bit studios, developers of Frostpunk, are wishing everyone a happy holidays with the release of ‘A Christmas Carol’, a free content update that brings a completely new quest to the game’s Endless mode. There’s no doubt that the atmosphere that 11 bit studios has created in Frostpunk lends itself well to a Charles Dickens inspired quest. The game’s Endless mode lets players experience the full force of the decisions they are forced to make, and ‘A Christmas Carol’ brings a new Christmas-themed building along with the new quest....

During a game dev conference in Bilbao, Spain, Fumito Ueda has shared more details about his next project. The creator of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus has revealed that the process is still very early as he and his team are still prototyping. A team of about 10 people is working on “artistic creation and also the creation of prototypes”, so don’t expect the game to ship this gen....

The Everlasting Moonglow is a 5-star Catalyst weapon that was released alongside Sangonomiya Kokomi’s initial run. It’s a weapon specially made for the Hydro healer, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and has limited utility as a weapon overall. To obtain the Everlasting Moonglow, you’ll need to pull on the limited weapons banner in the second half of Version 2.5. After the limited weapon banner featuring the Everlasting Moonglow ends, you’ll have to wait until it’s featured on another banner to obtain it....

The Staff of Scarlet Sands is a 5-star Polearm weapon added in the first half of Genshin Impact Version 3.1. This new industrial spear is a strong weapon that provides a ton of added Crit Rate while also giving tons of ATK through its passive. Get this weapon for Polearm characters who will also need to build some Elemental Mastery, and watch as your numbers fly high. To obtain the Staff of Scarlet Sands, the weapon must be featured as an available 5-star weapon on the Weapon Event Wish banner....

Whiteblind is a 4-star Claymore available to all players. While there is no special unlock requirement, obtaining the actual weapon itself will require some grinding. The sword needs a Northlander Claymore Billet, only available through weekly boss drops or as quest/exploration rewards. Once you obtain a Northlander Claymore Billet, you can use it to forge either the Whiteblind or Prototype Archaic. The Whiteblind is another niche free-to-play weapon but works well with Claymore characters who scale off of Defense....

Microsoft-owned GitHub has removed YouTube-dl, an incredibly popular Python library to help download YouTube videos. The move is in response to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notice from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). However, youtube-dl is not entirely used for piracy. Soon after GitHub removed the repository, several creators took to Twitter to share how they used the tool to make backups of their own content. The tool is also popular among internet archivists across the globe....
