One game that became the staple of many co-op shooters was GoldenEye 007. This title created many of the things that we can see in modern games today: the map layout, the gameplay, and much more. The same has happened in other genres, like Resident Evil 4 becoming a staple for survival games. But, let’s focus on the 007 game for now. GoldenEye 007 just got an official release date for the Nintendo Switch and Xbox. This is great for those who want to jump back into one of the best games of those years.
GoldenEye 007 will release on January 27 for Nintendo Switch and Xbox
While we already knew the game was coming to both consoles, it is now official. January 27 is the day when we’ll be able to experience this game once more. It would seem that the Nintendo Switch release of GoldenEye 007 is the best one so far. It includes multiplayer, and we imagine it’ll be a treat to play it in the handheld mode. On the other hand, the Xbox release of GoldenEye 007 will only include the single-player components, which aren’t bad at all. But, if you want to play with friends, Nintendo’s version seems like the best bet.

Life is Strange 2 Announces a Nintendo Switch Version
To get the game on Nintendo Switch, you’ll need an active Nintendo Online subscription with the Expansion Pack. Having it will let you play GoldenEye 007 on your Nintendo Switch on the release day. For Xbox, all you have to do is get Game Pass, and you’ll get GoldenEye 007 as soon as the release date gets here. So yes, getting the title isn’t hard, and it is a welcome game for both platforms. Still, if you prefer modern games, IO Interactive is working on a 007 game, now that they’ve finished most of the content for Hitman 3. So, 007 fans might get a modern game in the coming months or years.
