Fans of DRM-free games rejoice! SEGA has begun an official partnership with GOG to bring its games over to the platform, beginning with the legendary horror title Alien: Isolation (at 75% off!). This new deal marks the beginning of GOG’s annual Summer Sale, which is set to bring plenty more goodies for you to enjoy.

What Else Do We Know About the SEGA and GOG Partnership?

While the team hasn’t discussed many other games coming to the platform yet, the partnership is also set to see both the hospital management simulator Two Point Hospital and third-person gorefest Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Anniversary Edition make their way to the GOG storefront. More titles are also announced to arrive in the coming weeks, though we don’t know the specific titles just yet. Either way, the partnership should add a lot of value to the GOG storefront. The DRM-free enthusiast crowd may not be large, but it’s a passionate community and is sure to find these additions noteworthy.

Beyond the SEGA and GOG partnership though, their Summer Sale brings a ton of deals worth looking forward to. In fact, the team is kicking things off in style with a free game, the 1998 horror classic Sanitarium. The game follows your character as, after a car accident, you’ve ended up in an asylum with your head wrapped in bandages. Without much to go off of, you must explore all the asylum has to offer and search for answers, all while teetering on the brink of madness. Alongside this free title, you can also explore a number of deals such as Diablo + Hellfire (20% off), Heroes of Might & Magic III (75% off), Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (50% off), and much more!

So, will you be picking up any of SEGA’s library from the GOG store when they eventually show up? Any games you’re eyeing from the sale? Let me know!
