God of War will hit PS4 on April 20th, a new release date announcement that fits with the Early 2018 window offered back at E3. The game has been one of the most highly anticipated titles of the year, and this release date should make fans very happy. Along with this latest announcement came a brand new trailer, which you can check out below, as well as more details on the game’s various Collector’s Editions.
We previously saw the Stone Mason Edition, which includes a lot of physical goodies for God of War fans to collect. Along with that edition will be various pre-order bonuses and other versions of the game. Which one you buy will likely come down to how big a fan you are.
Just below the massive, $149.99 Stone Mason Edition is the standard Collector’s Edition. This one costs $129.99 and is very similar to the larger version, only lacking a few exclusive items crafted after objects from the game. There will also be a Digital Deluxe edition of God of War which will focus on in-game content, rather than physical collectibles.
Check out the full breakdown if you’re tempted by these things, including some retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses.
