God of War Ragnarok game has launched to the joy of the entire gaming community. The game has not disappointed and quickly lived up to the hype. The biggest fans splurged a little and, in an effort to get the complete God of War Ragnarok experience, bought the collector’s edition, but it seems that those buyers might be getting the short end of Thor’s hammer.

After eagerly waiting for the release, some buyers have reported not receiving the game with their Collector’s Edition. Needless to say, the actual game in a collector’s edition is kind of important.

God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition Buyers

The problem was first shared by Forbes, with many fans sharing the lack of the actual game in the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition or even missing other parts of the collection. Along with the game, the Collector’s Edition officially comes with many physical goodies and even a hammer that may not be a legal liability at some point. But while most things are making it to the intended buyers, some fans are not getting the steelbook of the game, which has the code inside. Some people have even reported getting two digital add-on codes instead of the game.

Buyers of the Collector’s Edition that didn’t get the game have contacted PlayStation customer support but have not gotten any help for the most part. It is recommended that fans take a seat and wait for Sony to figure it out and rectify the problem for everyone.

This is not the first time something like this has happened, and the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition is not alone. The Firefly Edition of The Last of Us Part 1 was inappropriately packaged and was utterly useless by the time fans got their hands on it.

While fans are understandably upset, the issues should soon be resolved so everyone can finally jump back into the 9 realms with their axes and blades swinging.
