As you make your way through the Nine Realms, you’ll realize that there are loads of collectibles that you can snag throughout your adventures, including books in God of War: Ragnarok. Though some of them require you to unlock items beforehand or go to certain places, and they aren’t always the easiest to find. The collectible that we’ll be focusing on today books. More specifically, Kvasir’s Poems, books about poems that Kvasir has written. Keep reading to learn where to find the locations of all the books in God of War: Ragnarok‘s Alfheim.

All Alfheim Book Locations in God of War Ragnarok

There are a total of 5 different Books you can find in Alfheim. Below, I’ll explain where to find each of them.

God of War: Ragnarok Book #1 – The Strond

The first book you’ll find in God of War is called Afterlife Abandonment. You can find it in The Strond. To get there, you can use the closest Mystic Gateway to The Strond. To find it you will have to:

  • Head down the path to the Temple of Light until you come across a wall made of wood, neat two Twilight Stone pillars.
  • Break the door by completing the Twilight Puzzle.
  • Head forward to the ledge.
  • Jump down from the ledge and turn left.
  • There will be a cave with the entrance blocked by pots. Break these pots, and you will find Afterlife Abandonment.

Book #2 – Temple of Light

The second book you can find will be further down the path from The Strond in the Temple of Light. This God of War: Ragnarok book is called Visions After Rest.

  • Head toward the Light in the center of the Temple of Light.
  • Rather than heading through the doorway to the Light, turn to your right. There will be a broken part of the stone railing.
  • Continue down to the end of the path, where you can then grapple.
  • Turn left, and keep on heading in that direction until you find Visions After Rest.

God of War: Ragnarok Book #3 – Temple of Light

The third God of War: Ragnarok book, Spirits Within Walls, can be found very close to where you find Visions After Rest.

  • Head back to the doorway that you avoided when looking for Visions After Rest and head through it.
  • Once you go down the steps, there will be two paths you can take. One leads out of the Temple of Light and the other leads into a room.
  • Head into the room and you can pick up Spirits Within Walls off a table within the room.

Book #4 – The Barrens

The fourth God of War: Ragnarok book is Celestial Construct, and can be found in the Barrens.

  • Head to the Northern part of the Barrens and veer off to the East a bit.
  • Here, you should find a big pile of bones that look like they came from a whale or something similar.
  • Head inside the whale and make your way toward the back of its body.
  • There will be a grapple point that you’ll use to climb up to the top, where you can find Celestial Construct.

Book #5 – The Forbidden Sands

The fifth and final God of War: Ragnarok book can be found after completing The Reckoning.

  • Head North in the Forbidden Sands and look for The Burrows.
  • Head East at the Burrows until you reach the Elfish Temple.
  • Now head South.
  • Climb the watchtower that you will come across shortly and pick up the final book when you reach the top.
