Where to Find the Soul Eater in The Plains in God of War Ragnarok?
You will find a rock-like feature of the Soul Eater in the opening near the Celestial Alter. Make sure to change it to the evening by using the Celestial Alter. You will then see some corpses of burnt animals, and after a short search, you will notice some rocks covered in runes.
Once you attack the rocks, the Soul Eater will be awakened. Now, you are in for a fight against a giant rock that shoots ice beams. The Soul Eater appears multiple times throughout the campaign, but if you haven’t had the experience of fighting this rock-like creature, we will guide you through the fight.
The Soul Eater will spray an ice beam when it opens its core. Moreover, it will also spread ice around itself when you come near it.
Once it opens the core, attack the Soul Eater by throwing your axe or spear, and then follow the attack with the white orbs that come out of the Soul Eater’s ice heart. This will cause massive damage to the monster, and after you run to it and spam the attack button, it will quickly fall to the ground.
How to defeat Hardrefill in God of War Ragnarok
This Soul Eater is a part of the ‘In Plain Sight’ favor, and defeating it completes your mission. Once done, you will be awarded 3000 XP for Kratos and 750 XP for Atreus. Furthermore, you will get Hunter’s Brand and Eir’s Armament Amulet.
