The studio that made the God of War PC port, Jetpack Interactive, is reportedly working on a new AAA live-service game with Sony, according to a recent job listing by the company. This might be one of the 10 live-service games that Sony had in store.

Initially noticed by VGC, Jetpack Interactive had a job posting on LinkedIn that explains that the company is excited to work on a live-service game with Sony and that they want experienced developers to join their team. Even though Jeckpack Interactive is primarily known for porting God of War to PC earlier this year, it seems that it did such a good job that it was tasked with its own game. The new unannounced game was referred to as a “flagship IP” elsewhere in the LinkedIn post.

Sony And Live-Service Games

Not too long ago Sony mentioned that it plans on launching multiple live-service games soon. Jim Ryan also said that the studio was already working on at least two live-service titles. The games are planned to be announced in March next year. It was also confirmed that Sony plans to launch at least 10 live service games by the end of 2025.

Apart from this, Sony has also confirmed that it is bringing a lot more of its games to PC, and in total, plans to bring half of its console exclusives to PC by 2025. Not only this, but it seems the upcoming live-service games might also make their way onto PC, which is in line with Sony wanting to expand to other platforms.

So far, some of the biggest Sony exclusives that have gotten the God of War treatment are Horizon: Zero Dawn, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Days Gone. All of these games have been doing very well on PC.

Meanwhile other exclusives like Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come out on PC soon. And some leaks suggest that Returnal might come to PC eventually as well.
