Bündchen has reportedly threatened her husband to leave football or risk ending their marriage.
Gisele Bündchen Gives Brady An Ultimatum
According to a source, Gisele Bündchen, 42, reportedly gave Tom Brady, 45, an ultimatum with the threat to end their marriage if he does not leave football. “Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” a source revealed to Us Weekly on Thursday.
“She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future. She is doing it for her family.” This is however not the first time Brady’s time in the NFL is reportedly causing a rift between the couple.
What Led To Bündchen’s Ultimatum?
Earlier in September, news broke that the supermodel and the athlete had gotten into “an epic fight” over his decision to “unretire” from professional football.
A source revealed that the couple had agreed that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback would retire from professional football to focus on his family but he had changed his mind.
Brady and Bundchen got married in 2009 and share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, while he shares 15-year-old son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Earlier this year, the football player briefly retired but announced 40 days later that he would be returning to the sport for his 23rd season.
“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” he tweeted in March.
“That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”
Amid their marriage woes, a source previously revealed that Gisele Bündchen and Brady both hired divorce lawyers. The model was then spotted without her wedding ring, leading to further speculations that she was done with the marriage.
On October 21, a source revealed that things are getting “very nasty” between the pair amid their divorce case, with both Bündchen and Brady wanting joint custody of the children and a division of their possessions.
