Just in the nick of time, Ghostbusters: Afterlife final trailer has been released. With the film premiere later this month, fans are dying to see anything they may have missed in the previous Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer. Popular young actors McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard are recognizable in the trailer. This is likely to bring many young people to the theater since that is the only place you can watch it when it’s released. Paul Rudd also appears in the trailer, which will give the film even more fanfare.

This is not the first time that Ghostbusters was given new life. Many people may have forgotten the fully female-fronted film in 2016. The film was written and acted as a comedy and was unfortunately forgotten quickly, despite the stars attached. This new film is not a reboot but a sequel, centering around the grandchildren of one Ghostbuster, played by McKenna Grace.

Bill Murray Returns

The new Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer is meant to invoke nostalgia. And it works well. The trailer opens with Dan Akroyd’s well-known line from the original film, “I remember revelations.” In quick succession, there are many old favorites to appear. Viewers can see the old Ghostbusters car, the ghost trap, and of course, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. In this trailer, he doesn’t seem to get to the full size of the original, but fans can dream.

The characters run around chasing ghosts, but the stakes seem to be high when they encounter the familiar demon gargoyles and open a portal to hell. But it is the true nostalgia that will bring fans of the original back to theaters. Every living Ghostbuster will be reprising their role. Bill Murray’s voice can be heard as he and the rest of the team return. Harold Ramis is the only one not to appear due to his unfortunate passing. But he is sure to be remembered when Ghostbusters: Afterlife premiers in theaters on November 19th.
