Ubisoft recently held betas for their upcoming game called Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and by the looks of things they were definitely popular. The company has shared some stats from the betas today, where they revealed that they were their most popular betas of all time.

Throughout the beta phases for the game nearly 7 million people took part in them, which is a new record for Ubisoft after the previous record-holder of For Honor. The For Honor betas accumulated over 6 million people when all was said and done, which was also incredibly impressive. The following is a list of stats that players racked up during the beta phases for the game:

  • 6.83 million players on beta phases
  • Over 34 million hours played
  • Average open beta player time was seven hours
  • 77 million miles were driven
  • There were 169 million minutes spent using Night Vision
  • Over 1.2 million kills were made
  • More than 43 million teammates were saved
  • Best average shooting distance was 725 meters or 793 yards
  • Players base jumped over 12 million times
  • 100,000 users downloaded the Ghost Recon Companion App with 10 million resources sent to the game from the app

As for when these betas took place, there was a closed beta that ran from February 3rd through the 6th that was followed by an open beta that ran from February 23rd through the 27th. The beta offered a pretty decent chunk of the game’s world, allowing players to play through two of the game’s provinces. Having taken part in the closed beta personally, there was definitely an impressive sense of scale in regards to the game’s world. Ubisoft has previously said that it’s the biggest game world they have ever created, and that was definitely apparent even from the limited portions that the beta offered.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 7th.
