Nathan Drake isn’t the only PlayStation-exclusive character coming to the big screen. Announced earlier this week, Sucker Punch Productions announced that Ghost of Tsushima is being adapted into a film, and John Wick director, Chad Stahelski, is set to direct.
Alex Young and Jason Spitz from 87Eleven Entertainment will serve as producers along with Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan from PlayStation Productions. Luckily, Sucker Punch Productions will be heavily involved with the Ghost of Tsushima film, and Peter Kang will act as head.
As of this writing, there is no further information on the upcoming adaptation such as casting, story, release date, etc. However, filming for John Wick 4 will begin soon, so this project is still a ways off. But, Ghost of Tsushima (and its free DLC, Legends) is available now on PlayStation in the meantime.
The Last of Us is also in development as a TV show on HBO, and an Uncharted film is also coming soon.
