During the presentation, series director Masahiro Sakurai went into detail on the character’s moves and even spoke about the special King of Fighters Stage music that will launch with the character. Terry Bogard made his first appearance in 1991’s Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.

The Terry DLC will feature 50 tracks, making it the largest number of tracks available for a DLC character so far, and it will include music from multiple SNK games.

Terry Bogard is the fourth new character to be added to the game, but the identity of the fifth character is still a mystery. We have no clues yet as to who the fifth fighter will be when they might release, or what kind of additions will also be made to the game along with them. Terry joins Persona 5‘s Joker, Banjo Kazooie, and Dragon Quest 11‘s Hero as new characters added to the Smash Ultimate lineup so far.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been an enormous success for Nintendo, regularly hitting Top 10 selling games each month.
