Mortal Kombat X’s much awaited debut is almost here, with only four days to go now. As a result, gamers are itching to get their hands on the latest installment in the series. For those that are planning on getting the game for PC and wanted a refresher on the last game in the series, there is an excellent bundle available for a very limited time that will save you a good bit of money on Mortal Kombat X as well.
Through Bundle Stars, you can get not only get Mortal Kombat X with the Goro pre-order DLC, both of which are locked until Tuesday, but you will also get Mortal Kombat 9 Komplete Edition as well through what they are calling the Mortal Kombat X Special Kombo Pack. You would imagine that getting both games would cost more than the retail price for Mortal Kombat X, but instead all of these are on sale together for $44.99.
Both games are easily unlocked within Steam, with Mortal Kombat 9 Komplete Edition being available right now of course. With the last entry basically rebooting the franchise and Mortal Kombat X being the continuation, it is almost vital to know the story from MK9. I am currently replaying through it myself and there is plenty that I forgot happens, so it is an excellent refresher course before the release of Mortal Kombat X on Tuesday.
