Lucky adventurers who have successfully wished for the new 5-star Cryo character Ayaka will realize that she requires a resource known as Sakura Bloom to Ascend. To find Sakura Bloom, you will first need to unlock access to Inazuma, a chain of islands in the realm of the Electro Archon. Once there, you will be able to find an abundance of Sakura Bloom and farm it once every two real-world days. This Genshin Impact guide will show you the precise spots on Inazuma where you can locate Sakura Bloom and which special characters you will need to farm it.

Where to Find Sakura Bloom in Genshin Impact

To find Sakura Bloom in Genshin Impact, go to Narukami, the largest of the Inazuma islands. You must keep an eye out for clusters of sakura petals floating about in a pink glowy mist. Once you spot some, move in close and strike it with an Electro-based attack to collect it.

Plenty of Sakura Bloom nodes are dotted all over the island for all your recipe and Ayaka Ascension needs. Most of the Sakura Bloom can be found in the northeast region of Narukami, so that area would be a great place to start farming. If you’re having difficulty locating the exact spots of the flora, refer to the detailed official interactive map for its useful “zoom-in” feature.

After finding the Sakura Bloom, make sure you’ve switched to an Electro-based character such as Lisa, Razor, Fischl, or Keqing. You need to utilize their electric-powered skills to collect the floating petals. Sakura Bloom can then be used as the Ascension Material for Ayaka or cooking special recipes such as Sakura Mochi, Sakura Tempura, “Snow on the Hearth,” or Tricolor Dango. As mentioned above, do keep in mind that Sakura Bloom will respawn every 48 hours in real-time.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android.
