MiHiYo recently released a character teaser for Arataki Itto alongside an update on his talents and story. It was also revealed not too long ago that Arataki Itto will be available in the game as a playable 5-star character. When Will Arataki Itto Arrive in Genshin Impact?
Arataki Itto will officially release as a playable character in Genshin Impact on December 14. The third character banner of Version 2.3, Oni’s Royale, will also release on this date. You will have the opportunity to obtain him from the banner during the few weeks that it is available. The banner will end on January 4. However, he will likely become available again during future banners if you miss out on the banner or have unlucky gacha pulls. There is also a chance you will pull Gorou, another upcoming Geo character, during this banner event.
Arataki Itto is a Geo character that uses claymore weapons. He can perform up to four regular attack strikes at a time and will gain stacks of Superlative Superstrengh. He uses these stacks as a substitute for stamina during his charged attack to launch several powerful slashes.
His first ability is a short-range bull named Ushi that deals Geo damage to opponents on hit. When Ushi successfully hits an enemy, takes damage or flees the battle, it gives Itto a stack of Superlative Superstrengh. Ushi will also taunt enemies.
His second ability converts Itto’s regular and charged attacks to Geo damage. Arataki Itto’s attack speed, power and defence also increase, but his elemental and physical resistance decrease. His first and third attacks give him Superlative Superstrengh stacks.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
