With every new version released, we get new characters. This time the spotlight goes to two new ones. Cyno and Candace. Today, we’ll be focusing on the former, though. This new 5-star polearm electro character is great due to all that it brings to the game. From a powerful burst to some great talents, you will be doing a lot of damage while jumping around the battlefield. Genshin Impact’s Cyno is a great addition to any team. So, if you’re one of the lucky few who got him during this banner, this guide is for you. Today we bring you the best Genshin Impact Cyno builds.

Best Genshin Impact Cyno Builds

Following the trend of powerful polearm users, we have Cyno. This 5-star character is a great addition to any team and does wonders as the main DPS. It has high Crit Damage, really fast attacks, and a burst that applies elemental reactions to enemies. This is perfect and a bit similar to what Raiden Shogun does. Yet, as always, it is important to know how to make good Genshin Impact Cyno builds before taking him to the field. So, let’s see which is the best for this 3.1 version.

Main-DPS builds

If you want to use Cyno as your main DPS character, you’ll need the following weapons:

  • Staff of the Scarlet Sands (Best One for Electro Reaction Build)
  • Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (Alternative for Normal Attack Build)
  • White Tassel (Free-to-Play Alternative)

These weapons are great to give Cyno some Elemental Mastery and Attack buffs while also working together with some artifacts. Of all Genshin Impact Cyno builds, there are two ways to go. Either Electro Reaction or Normal Attacks. Let’s see now which artifacts work for these two builds.

  • Gilded Dreams x4 (For Electro Reaction Build)
  • Gladiator’s Finale x4 (For Normal Attack Build)

Genshin Impact: Where to Find Redcrest

For the characters, you’ll need to make any of the Genshin Impact Cyno builds, we recommend grabbing Candace, Yelan, and Zhongli. All of these make great synergy with Cyno and will have him filling his burst gauge quite fast. However, for more Free-to-Play friendly options, you can switch Yelan for Fischl and Zhongli for the Dendro Traveler. Doing so will still give Cyno some time to shine. Right now, these are the two Genshin Impact Cyno builds we have, but as time goes by, we’ll surely see more with the new 3.1 version.
