As you explore the world of Teyvat, you will no doubt, come across a plethora of things that you cannot access yet. Some things are dependant on your Adventure Rank when other things need keys to be able to unlock the goodies within!

Shrines of Depths Mondstadt Locations

Shrine of Depths are locked obelisks scattered around the two regions of Genshin Impact, Mondstadt, and Liyue. However, these shrines are locked, and a Shrine Depths key needs to be obtained to open them. Inside you will find a Luxurious Chest, filled to the brim with decent loot! In Teyvat, there are 20 Shrine of Depths in total, meaning there are 10 scattered about in each region.

To find the locations for all of the Shrine of Depths in Mondstadt, check out the image below. They are pretty spread out across Mondstadt but worthwhile hunting down when you have the keys. As inside, you could get 1-4 star equipment, Adventure Rank XP, essential upgrade materials, and even 40 Primogems!

How to get the Mondstadt Shrine of Depths Keys

To get the Mondstadt Shrine of Depths Keys, you need to complete Abyss Domains, quests, and by completing certain chapters in the Adventurers Handbook. Here are where to get the 10 keys in Mondstadt:

Abyss Domains

  • Adventure Rank 12 Temple of the Falcon = 1 Key Adventure Rank 15 Temple of the Wolf = 1 Key Adventure Rank 18 Temple of the Lion = 1 Key

Quests

  • Archon Quest New Horizons of Adventure = 1 Key Adventure Rank 25 Adventure Rank Ascension 1 = 3 Keys

Adventurer Handbook

  • Chapter 4 Upgrade the Statues of the Seven in Mondstadt = 1 Key Chapter 5 Open 100 chests = 1 Key

Once you have opened up all ten of the Shrine of Depths, now go and unlock the Shrine of Depths in the Liyue region!

  • Temple of the Falcon = 1 Key

  • Temple of the Wolf = 1 Key

  • Temple of the Lion = 1 Key

  • New Horizons of Adventure = 1 Key

  • Adventure Rank Ascension 1 = 3 Keys

  • Upgrade the Statues of the Seven in Mondstadt = 1 Key

  • Open 100 chests = 1 Key
