Genshin Impact has received its first major content update with Version 2.0. The new update adds a whole new mystical region ‘Inazuma’ alongside tons of new content. As with the 12 Shrines available across Mondstadt and Liyue, Genshin Impact just added six new ‘Shrines of the Depths’ to Teyvat (in Inazuma specifically) for players to hunt for.The new Shrines are spread across the archipelago region of Inazuma. Shrines of the Depths provide massive amounts of one-time rewards for players, so finding and unlocking them is well worth the effort. The rewards from the shrines provide gear, lots of Adventurer Rank XP and most importantly vast amounts of Primogems. If you have yet to unlock the Inazuma region, then check out our guide on how to unlock the brand new region here.To open these Shrines, you will need 6 keys gained from various activities such as Archon Quests, Sacred Sakura level rewards, and Temples in Inazuma. Upon getting one or all six keys, you can begin hunting down these new Shrines.
Genshin Impact: Shrine of Depths – Inazuma Locations
There are two Shrines to be found in and around Narukami Island. The first is on a cliff, overlooking a southern beach on the main body of the island. The second Shrine is on a small island north of Narukami Island. Using the boat will be necessary to reach the small lonely island.
On the central island of the region, Kannazuka, there are two more Shrines. The first is on the northwestern side of the island overlooking a small footbridge. The second is on the southern section of the island at the base of a massive cliff, connecting the main body of the island to its smaller secondary body.
The final two Shrines are on the most western island, Yashiori Island. These two Shrines are quite close to each other, with the first being on one of the highest cliffs on the southern half of the island. The second and final Shrine in Inazuma is on the Southwestern cliff, overlooking the ocean.With a bit of gliding, swimming, and a lot of running, all the Shrines can be quickly found and opened; granting bountiful rewards for those who seek them.If you are interested in knowing everything the content update brought with it, check out the entire patch notes available here.
