Last week, Genshin Impact announced that a Serenitea Pot maintenance was slated to start by the time Version 2.6 drops. The update would target the placement menu, but no details were shared on what features were expected to change. While most game updates take no more than a few hours, the Serenitea Pot maintenance is still ongoing—five days since it started.
On the in-game Notice board, Genshin Impact announced that the Serenitea Pot’s placement function will continue to undergo maintenance until further notice, with no clear end date in sight. However, they will be distributing an additional compensation of 5,000 Realm Currency for every week the maintenance extends.
Players Adventure Rank 5 and above are eligible to claim compensation until the end of Version 2.6, and those who have not unlocked the Serenitea Pot will be able to use the currency once they set up a Realm.
Based on the announcement, the maintenance period could last weeks, with compensation rolled out every Monday. Genshin Impact’s development team has yet to provide the community with information on what they’re changing—but the update could be huge, given the amount of time it’s taking to roll out. Players can stay up-to-date on the latest Serenitea Pot updates—when they do come—by subscribing to Genshin Impact’s social media channels, as well as HoYoLAB.
