Layla is one of the newer characters in Genshin Impact, introduced in the latest 3.2 Update. She is a 4-star Cryo-type Sword-wielding character and a supporting character as well. There are a few things that come into play when trying to decide the best build to choose for Layla. First, since she is a shield support character, you’ll want to focus on something that will boost her Elemental Mastery. You’ll also want to focus on HP boosts, as her shield runs off her HP. And lastly, you’ll need to look at where she will fit into a team and with what other types of characters.
