With an ever-expanding environment to explore, Genshin Impact offers players new experiences almost two years after its initial release. And as part of the 2.6 Genshin Impact Update, miHoYo has added a new Domain called the “Lost Valley.” However, unlike previous domains in the game, this one is more hidden and requires gamers to solve a puzzle before entering. So for fans looking to discover all that it has to offer, here is how to unlock The Lost Valley and solve the entrance puzzle.
The Lost Valley Entrance is located within Liyue, just south of Fuao Vale. Before heading out, make sure to add a Genshin Impact Geo character to the party. They should be able to create the rock construct, which narrows it down to either Zhongli or Ningguang. Players will know they are in the right location when there is a huge boulder with the Geo symbol blocking the path and an ancient stone tablet is nearby.

Once at the entrance, use the traveler that is resonated with Geo to create a path of rock constructs that connect to the huge platform south of the entrance. Set about two contracts around where the chest is and then fly over to the glowing platform about three rocks away from the door. Stand on top of it to activate the golden soundwaves, then create another rock construct on the platform to keep the ripple effect going.
Fans will know they have done the Genshin Impact puzzle right when a cutscene activates, showing that the boulder is gone. Next, head inside and turn to the right to see a huge stone door that is glowing purple. This will activate the teleport waypoint for players and finally allow gamers to enter the domain.
What’s Inside The Lost Valley
The recommended party level for the Domain is 90 and suggests that players should use Pyro, Electro, Geo, and Anemo elemental characters. Inside, tall Ruin Monsters serve as stronger versions of the Ruin Guards. They take extra damage when using the correct elemental abilities, so be sure to follow the recommended player element suggestions.
The reward for completing the Lost Valley in Genshin Impact is 2,525 Mora, talent level-up material, and weapon ascension materials. On top of that, there are two 5-star artifact sets called “Echoes of an Offering” and “Vermillion Hereafter.”
