Genshin Impact has been one of the most popular and successful games since its release in September 2020. A new update trailer for version 2.1 was released on August 20, and with this will come many new codes for both new and veteran players to enjoy. Some of the most useful codes are those for Primogems, as they are the main premium currency used in the game. By the end of this guide, you will learn how to redeem Primogem codes in Genshin Impact.
How to Redeem Primogem Codes in Genshin Impact
There are two ways your can claim free Primogems. The first method is through the mobile or PC game, and the second is through the official Genshin Impact website.
To redeem free Primogems through the game itself, launch the game and tap or click on the profile icon in the top left corner of your screen. Find the settings and click on Account. From here, click on “redeem now” and paste a Primogem redemption code. Click on “exchange”, and a redemption complete popup should appear. Visit the in-game mailbox by clicking or tapping on the mail icon above the settings. Within the mailbox, you will receive a “Reward – Code Redeemed” notification. You can open the mail and claim the reward or select “Claim all” to receive multiple rewards at once.
To redeem the Primogems through the website, you will need to visit the gift section and log into your Genshin Impact account. Once you log in, select the server you play on, your in-game name, and the redemption code you would like to use. If you try to select the server before logging in, it will prompt you to sign in.
You will need to repeat the above steps for each Primogem code you use. As you use the codes, the rewards will appear one at a time in your mailbox. The codes can only be used once for each account you play on, and they expire after a set time. You can view the expiry time in the mailbox beside the reward notification.
