As we inch closer to patch 1.6, miHoYo is bringing another event to Genshin Impact. The new event is called Mimi Tomo and will be available for playing from May 27 onwards. Players can earn rewards such as Primogems, Liyue-style furniture, and Hero’s Wit by completing the challenges presented in the event. Mimi Tomo Event In Genshin Impact

To start the event, save Ella Musk from Hilichurls, after which she will give you a Handy Handbook of Hilichurlian. The handbook will allow you to find Hilichurls that you can talk to. If a health bar appears on top of Hilichurl when you approach the creature, it is the wrong one. You’ll have to find Hilichurls who do not engage in combat and talk to them to know their request. Once you fulfill the request, the Hilichurl will give you the location of Unusual Hilichurl, who you have to defeat to get the reward.

Although the event will be released on May 27, we already have details of the day 1 quest. After you find a Hilichurl that will talk to you, the Hilichurl will ask you to get “Mita Movo Lata.” The phrase simply translates into “Water Meat,” which is an indication that the Hilichurl is asking for a fish. Once you give fish to the Hilichurl, the Handbook will ask you to find a second Hilichurl to talk to. After finding one, the task would be to defeat some enemies, which is pretty easy to do. Finally, you’ll be given the location of Unusual Hilichurl by the second Hilichurl. Interact with the Unusual Hilichurl and claim the reward for Day 1.

The event will last for 7 days with a new Hilichurl quest each day. Players will get 60 Primogems per day which adds up to a massive 420 Primogems in total. Players can also get their hands on Liyue-themed Furnishing Blueprints to beautify their houses in the game. Other rewards include Hoer’s Wit and Mora.
