Genshin Impact Probably Won’t Have a Halloween Event

Many players are wondering if Genshin Impact made any plans for Halloween 2022. There have not yet been any formal announcements. And we honestly believe that there won’t be any Halloween material at Genshin Impact. Additionally, there were no unique Halloween celebrations in either 2020 or 2021. Based on it, we can assume that we won’t observe “Spooktober” in 2022 either.

Halloween-themed events are frequently held by numerous well-known franchises, including Overwatch 2, Fall Guys, and Call of Duty. It would make sense for developer miHoYo to capitalize on luring players to participate in momentary events or get themed cosmetics, so why hasn’t a Halloween event in Genshin Impact?

Since Genshin Impact‘s release in September 2020, miHoYo has refrained from introducing “scary.” This isn’t a result of the developer not wanting to grant community requests; instead, it’s a result of new gaming laws that are in effect in China right now.

On the other hand, it is unlawful for video games to openly depict human corpses, severed body parts, bones, or blood in China. This law forces creators to completely modify or do away with combat systems in many gaming genres that rely on action-oriented combat effects.

Finally, there is no Halloween event in 2022 for Genshin Impact, and Genshin will probably never have it.
