As revealed earlier by miHoYo, the housing feature has arrived in Genshin Impact along with patch 1.5. Players can now have their own house in the world of Tevyat, adding more personal touch to the game. The house can be customized but will require furnishing, which players need to craft themselves. To do so, players need different types of wood that can be harvested from their respective trees. Although readily available, many might struggle to acquire different woods in the game. Here is our guide to help you find and harvest wood in Genshin Impact.

Pine Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Pine trees are scattered throughout the Dragonspine region. Some of the best places to check for Pine trees in the region are Wuwang Hill and Entombed City – Ancient Palace. Pine trees are generally thin with a pile of snow on them.

Birch Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Birch trees are generally yellow or light green in color. They are very vibrant, making them a standout in most cases. Birch trees can primarily be found in the Mondstadt region. Some of the major places in Mondstadt that are home to Birch trees include Starfell Lake and Cape Oath.

Fir Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Players might confuse Fir trees with Pine trees as both of them have a skinny trunk. However, Fir trees have more needle-like leaves, which make them very unique. Fir Trees are very common in both the Mondstadt and the Liyue region. Springvale and Starsnatch Cliff contain plenty of Fir Trees.

Cuihua Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Cuihua trees have swollen foliage and a fruit-like Sunsettia hanging from them. One of the best places to farm Cuihua wood is close to the fast travel point near Cecilia Garden in the Wolvendom area.

Cedar Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Cedar trees are large and have multiple branches on them. These are very easy to find in the region of Mondstadt, mainly near the Statue of the Seven in Starfell Lake and Whispering Woods.

Sandbearer Wood Location in Genshin Impact

Yellow leaves and a white trunk are the marks of a Sandbearer tree. These trees are native to Liyue and can only be found there. Mt. Tianheng and Mt. Aozang are two of the best places to find Sandbearer trees.

Bamboo Segment Location in Genshin Impact

Bamboo segments are available in abundance throughout Liyue. They are extremely thin and have a bushy top. Qingce Village is the ideal location for harvesting Bamboo segments.
