A mess of new content is coming with Genshin Impact’s newest update with version 1.3 and included in it is a series of weapons that fit in the “Lithic” line, of which the Lithic Spear is one of them. Fitting in a kind of smaller niche for the current meta as a polearm, the Lithic Spear is looking to really carve out a nice place for itself in the game.

About the Lithic Spear

Now that Genshin Impact has included prominent polearm users in Zhongli, Xiao, and Hu Tao, the demand for good polearms has started to really take off and the Lithic Spear looks like it will help fill that spot quite nicely, alongside the Staff of Homa, a five-star polearm that will be released with it as part of a weapons banner that will start on February 24.

This particular polearm has a storied place in the game as it was featured in the game’s beta version, where the stats were a bit more simplified, and the changes to the current version of the polearm seem to reflect that. We don’t really know if you’ll be able to craft this polearm, obtain it out in the field, or strictly through the banner, but it will be available for the banner for sure and it will likely be available for purchase at shops and found in the field.

This weapon’s base attack has been leaked as 42 and if the leak from the beta version of this weapon can be believed, the maximum base attack should sit at around 565 at Level 90. It also would boast a passive ability that encourages you to have a party full of characters from Liyue as the weapon would get an attack buff for every character in your party from Liyue and that buff goes up every time you refine it. In the right hands, this polearm could get pretty crazy.

From this vantage point, it looks like this weapon is just looking to do a lot of raw physical damage and that can take you a lot of places if used in tandem with some well-placed skills and spells.
