This past August 24, Genshin Impact welcomed us to the new nation of Sumeru. In it, besides presenting us with new gameplay, exploration, and even new enemies, we also had the opportunity to meet Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Goddess of Wisdom of said nation. Now, some leaks suggest who Fontaine’s Archon in Genshin Impact might be. While many players are still making their way through the content of these patches, some have already finished and are eager to see more of the next nation.
Leaks Show that Fontaine’s Archon in Genshin Impact might be not one, but two characters
We are going to delve a bit into spoiler territory, so be warned if you haven’t progressed through the main story. The Dendro Archon is actually two characters, Nahida and Rukkhadevata. Both represent the element but have different stories. Now, it seems that it is quite probable that they will repeat the formula in which they have two female Archons. The translation may differ from Chinese, but they mention the “previous Archon”. This points out at a previous Fontaine’s Archon in Genshin Impact akin to Sumeru’s.

This information describes the previous Archon as a teenager. She possesses a mischievous and cunning personality. She has blonde, almost white hair, and her design includes navy blue gradients. Not only that, but she also resembles a Seele, while the current Archon is a solemn adult woman in Valkyrie-like armor with blonde hair and different gradients of blue. She is reminiscent of the character Duran from Honkai Impact 3rd. As always, it is important to take these leaks regarding Fontaine’s possible Archon in Genshin Impact with a grain of salt. We’ve already seen Hoyoverse doing last-minute changes in designs and ideas, so until it is official, let’s not get too excited.
