Release Date: When Does Dori Come Out?

As she comes from the Sumeru region, Dori will come out with that update. It’s expected to hit six weeks after update 2.8. Since that update comes on July 13, 2022, Dori and the Sumeru region should come on August 24, 2022.

Who is Dori in Genshin Impact?

To put it simply, Dori has a look that resembles Middle Eastern culture. She sports these tiny diamond sunglasses, and it’s obvious that purple is her favorite character. A young traveling merchant, Dori always carries a claymore and a magical lamp around.

Elemental Vision and Weapon: What Can Dori Do?

Dori boasts Electro Vision. As for her weapons, we know that she uses a claymore. So, Dori is the third Electro claymore character in Genshin Impact behind Razor and Beidou.

What’s amusing is that it doesn’t appear that she actually wields it, though. Instead, her lamp’s purple, round genie looks to fire that claymore for her.

Dori’s Skills in Genshin Impact

Much of Dori’s skills in Genshin Impact make her out to be a reliable support character.

  • Elemental Burst: Dori will summon Spirit of the Lamp. This helps regenerate some Elemental Energy and HP. Additionally, this can deal Electro damage to nearby enemies.
  • Elemental Skill: Dori can summon a turret firing Electro “bullets.” If the shot hits, additional bullets track them and nearby enemies to deal more Electro damage.
  • Passive Talent: There’s a 25% chance of refunding both Weapon and Character Ascension Materials when you craft them.
