Dehya is an upcoming playable character in Genshin Impact who is a Desertfolk native serving as a mercenary of the Eremites. According to Nazafarin, an event-exclusive NPC from Sumeru who makes an appearance in the Spices From the West Event, the Eremites are “true soldiers of fortune who will do anything for money.” She further mentions that members of this faction possess “bizarre yet formidable powers.” While little is known of Dehya’s personality, fans can somewhat speculate on her values based on this information about her group. Accordingly, players are undoubtedly curious as to what other information HoYoverse has provided to reveal more about Dehya in Genshin Impact.

Dehya Reveal In Genshin Impact

Unfortunately, Genshin Impact fans still lack details regarding Dehya’s Elemental abilities or her performance in combat. However, Dehya has been revealed to be in possession of a Pyro Vision. Leaks also suggest that she is a Claymore user, similar to Xinyan or Diluc.

Genshin Impact: Everything Known About Nahida So Far

During the Traveler’s journey through Sumeru, they will likely encounter Dehya within the desert-biome area of the region. As a prominent mercenary of the Eremites, this Cryo user will play an important role in the main questline. However, she probably will not be a playable character that fans can pull at the launch of Genshin Impact Version 3.0. Instead, Dehya will become available in a Banner during Patch 3.1 or 3.2. While some community fans believe her to be a 4-Star character, there is still no official information on whether this is true. Nonetheless, it is essential for free-to-play players to save up Primogems in advance if they hope to pull her successfully in the future. Fortunately, there are currently plenty of “Freemogem” sources with the ongoing Summertime Odyssey Event of 2.8. Completing the event’s storyline, Domains, World Quests, and other activities should net players a decent amount of free Primogems.

As a native of Sumeru, most of Dehya’s Ascension Materials will naturally be within the Sumeru region. Therefore, it is essential that players have a good understanding of the territory’s layout, including where to find and farm key resources. Of course, it is not necessary to memorize where every plant or mob drop is located, but it will be relatively helpful to have a general idea of where to find specific items for convenient farming when Dehya’s release date is revealed in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact is available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
