Hard rock band singer Gene Simmons slams Rolling Stone a few days after they released the list they dubbed “Greatest Singers,” which excluded him, Celine Dion, and Cher. Simmons, an Israeli-American singer known as The Demon, consolidated himself as a staple in rock music after forming a band with Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss in the 1970s.

His love for music and creating bands began as a teenager, with his first group Lynx, later renamed Missing Links. He also created the “Long Island Sounds” band. Through the years, he has made a mark, receiving prestigious honors, like the Golden Medal by the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, among others, and support from an overwhelming number of fans.

Gene Simmons is yet to treat fans with any new music or eccentric performance, but the Scooby Doo star has headlined the news as he slams Rolling Stone.

Even ⁦@genesimmons⁩ gives #RollingStoneTop200 the ‘KISS’ off ( 😉) regarding how flawed their list is. Leaving off ⁦@celinedion⁩ is just insane. Or #JudyGarland #Liza #PattiLupone #JenniferHolliday ⁦@IAMJHUD⁩ The List is a work of FICTION https://t.co/act0Yvosxu

Gene Simmons Slams Rolling Stone

Gene Simmons slams Rolling Stone, not for their publication about his business, but for what they failed to publish about him! Into the new year, the publication released a list of 200 Greatest Singers of All Time, claiming these singers have shaped history and defined lives.

Simmons opined that the list was compiled to favor some people based on their fame. He explained that it was not about their unique singing voice but their style and recognizable voice.

Gene Simmons Does Not Care about Rolling Stone’s List Of Greatest Singers

The list included a Nigerian artist named Burna Boy, as well as Adele, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aretha, and Freddie. However, names like Cher and Celine Dion, and Simmons, were missing.

Apart from complaining about the favoritism played by Rolling Stone, the star said he did not mind the exclusion. The Family Guy actor almost paid the newsletter to have a spot at one time.
