Death Stranding is slowly becoming an all-star game, meaning that it features a lot of faces and people we’re quite used to, being them from the showbiz or the games industry. Only yesterday, we’ve shared that Conan O’Brien has his own character in the game, but there could’ve been even some more.
On Twitter, former Epic Games and Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski has shared that Hideo Kojima asked him if he wanted to be involved in the game with an NPC, but that he had to refuse because of the well-known issues with Boss Key Productions.
“He asked me to come get scanned when I was in Japan, but it was as BKP was nearly over, and I was starting my “lay low” phase and opted out. Kinda regret it,” he said, perhaps regretting because of how many people are actually getting involved in the project.
The original tweet was shared by God of War’s Cory Barlog, who ‘sadly’ mentioned that he is the only one who has not been invited to have a role in Death Stranding. Could it be that Kojima notices the tweet and does a last-minute addition?
Among other famous people we’ll find in the title we have The Game Awards host and producer Geoff Keighley, who, similarly to O’Brien, is an NPC giving you missions that usually have you delivering stuff across the game environment.
