Microsoft Game Studios’ Ken Lobb has recently spoken out about the new Gears of War title in development at Black Tusk. In an interview with Edge Online, Lobb, who oversees the output of Microsoft Game Studios, says that there’s a new and innovative Gears of War on the way.
“The concepts they’ve been toying with are awesome,” says Lobb. “I think the reality is what we have is an innovative Gears of War. That’s what I believe they’re going to make.” Lobb goes on to explain that the game will be working with the Unreal Engine 4, and claims that Black Tusk has a lot of experience in working with the new engine, as it’s what they’ve been using since the studio was founded.
As for concrete details about Gears of War on the Xbox One? Microsoft hasn’t given us any at the moment, and we still have no idea when to expect the popular shooter to return.
