Gears of War 4 may have been first revealed at E3 last year, but we are finally starting to get more information trickling out. We learned the other day just who the protagonists will be and now new details have come out about how the game will offer differing frame rates between its game modes.

As with most Game Informer cover games, they continue to cover the game with new details throughout the month. The latest update came via a video where Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson was interviewed about the game.

While the video is only about five and a half minutes, questions are asked in a rapid fire format, which allows 105 different questions to be asked and answered in such a short time.

One of the most intriguing questions asked was whether the game would be 1080p 30fps, in which Fergusson responded simply with “Campaign.” He was then asked what about multiplayer, where he confirmed that would be 60fps.

This is great news for Xbox One owners that Gears of War 4 seems to be pushing the limit by being at 1080p while still having a very good frame rate. While the campaign is only at 30fps, the 60fps in multiplayer should make a big difference as players are battling it out with the competition when Gears of War 4 launches later this year for Xbox One.
