The worst kept secret in gaming was easily the remaster of the original Gears of War, which did get officially revealed during Microsoft’s E3 conference today. That was far from the biggest thing that the newly renamed Coalition had up their sleeve though, as they unveiled the brand new Gears of War for the first time.
Rather than just some full CG trailer to get us hyped, our first glimpses ever of Gears of War 4 are actual gameplay footage. Taking control of new characters, including a guy and a girl, we see a massive tornado or storm of some sort taking down nearly everything around them.
After getting inside, the storm is the least of their worries, as enemies are hiding in the shadows and showcase the fear element of the Gears of War franchise.
Gears of War 4 for Xbox One looks great so far and hopefully we’ll get plenty more from the showfloor this week. Gears of War 4 will hit Xbox One in Holiday 2016.
