Guass, the long-teased speedster Warframe, is racing into the game this week on PC. Gauss specializes in moving exceptionally quickly. He’s not the only thing getting added. There are new weapons, missions, and a musical instrument coming to game, too.

If you want to get your hands on Gauss, you need to dive into the new Disruption Mode expansion to get the parts to build him. Gauss sounds like a lot of fun to play, as his passive means if you keep moving you generate a current that charges his Speed Gauge. This passive ability helps shields recharge faster and reduces the recharge delay.

His abilities allow him to smash into enemies, deploy armor plating for defense, siphon kinetic energy from his surroundings to convert into heat or cold damage, or supercharge his own batteries setting Fire Rate, Attack Speed, Reload Speed, and Holster Rate into overdrive. When past the redline, bolts of arcing electricity dance periodically from Gauss, exploding en masse when the ability is deactivated.

New missions are coming to Disruption Mode, with more nodes opening up in unexpected places. Alad V is selling his tech to anyone willing to part with the credits for it. We are also getting Gauss’ signature weapons, the Acceltra and the Akarius. Riven Slots increase from 90 to 120, and Plains of Eidolon missions are getting bonus objectives to provide extra rewards.

Finally, you will be able to play the Shazwin, a new musical instrument that is arriving in the game. It is another packed Warframe update that you can expect to be able to download very soon.
