Garcelle’s Memoir Caused The Animosity
Fans slammed Andy for laughing with Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne and dismissing Erika’s claims that she trashed Garcelle’s memoir.
Erika threw the “Love Me as I Am” memoir in the trash because Lisa was upset with Garcelle. They also joked about their recycling habits.
“She got so much s–t about [not] recycling. That’s when I really felt bad,” Rinna joked after Erika said she was “f–king down” for her controversial pal.
In the memoir’s first draft, Garcelle initially included Lisa’s daughter Amelia Hamlin’s eating disorder. Even though it was later edited from the current copy, Lisa trashed it and took a photo in protest.
However, Erika shared the photo in a group chat that excluded Garcelle before uploading it on social media.
Andy Cohen’s Apology Pleases Garcelle
Andy apologized to Garcelle after fans attacked him for how he treated her during the RHOBH reunion.
After that, Andy publicly apologized to Garcelle for not being more ‘in tune with her feelings” when she was visibly upset.
The TV host also apologized for diverting the discussion from the matter at hand. Likewise, he expressed remorse on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy for not returning to what was a serious conversation.

The 54-year-old further claimed to have deep admiration for Garcelle. He revealed he had “a really good, productive conversation” with her when he called.
Garcelle responded a week after Andy’s apology. The former model lauded him for reaching out to her after the incident. She told E! News:
The 55-year-old mentioned that although some sad things happened during the reunion, she still likes Andy. She also thought it was nice that he spoke out and apologized after all that went down.
Andy Cohen’s apology to Garcelle is admirable. It is also good that Garcelle Beauvais and Andy Cohen remained friends despite what happened. Hopefully, the parties involved learn lessons from the incident so it doesn’t happen again.
