Gamestop was set to release a statue for Fox McCloud on February 9th, 2016. However, it appears that have had to delay the release for it and it’s coming out slightly later than originally anticipated.
Gamestop has now updated its website and the Star Fox Zero statue will now be out on February 22nd, 2016. This is roughly a two week delay which is not that bad. It is unlike the game itself which had to be delayed by several months.
The “Star Fox Limited Edition Fox McCloud Stone Statue” is a Gamestop exclusive and will cost $79.99. It is eight inches tall and has been hand painted. The statue itself comes with its own base and only 5000 units are available. It pays to get your order in before they sell out.
It’s worth mentioning this is a traditional statue that has no articulation. Unlike some more modern statues out there that have a few moving parts here and there.
The Star Fox Zero game itself is coming out much later on April 21st, 2016. It will be available for the Wii U console.
