GameStop, the physical game retailer, has received a lot of flack in the past years. We all know the ongoing joke about their trade-in prices and their initial handling of COVID-19 was equally as suspect. We all get it. But, as a consumer it is hard to overlook the exceptional promos they offer from time to time. Currently, cheap means for entertainment are more desired than ever, and if you’ve got the gaming itch GameStop can help. The outlet’s B2G2 deal is extremely promising, and I’ve already used it!

Not “Essential” but Definitely Helpful

Video games retailors are not really essential businesses, but GameStop has managed to stay open during business hours. Their products are available online as well as through curbside pickup at physical locations. The hottest deal they’ve got going right now is a B2G2. The deal covers all used games $9.99 and under. You could get four $10 games for the price of $20, or do what I did and get four $5 games for TEN BUCKS.

You might be asking, “are any games available for $9.99 or less?”. The answer is yes. The PS4 and Xbox One selections are quite impressive at this price range. I was able to find great games like Fallout 4, Far Cry 4, Final Fantasy XV, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Additionally, most of the last year’s sports titles were priced at $9.99 and a few multiplayer options did as well. The major multiplayer options I found were Fallout 76, Halo 5: Guardians, and The Division 2.

GameStop Has A Fantastic Last Gen Selection

However, I found the true value of the promotion in the last generation games. There are tons of PS3 and Xbox 360 games available at $9.99. In fact, there’s a load of $4.99 games readily available. Because it’s buy two get two, I purchased Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster, God of War III, God of War: Ascension, and Heavy Rain for $10!

Other available last generation titles include The Last of Us, GTA V, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix, Fallout 3, Dark Souls, and Ratchet  Clank: A Crack in Time.

I was unable to find an end date for the sale. Still, I’d recommend checking out the deal sooner rather than later. We are going to be stuck at home for a long time still, and entertainment for a couple of bucks is a commodity we all need right now. Stay safe and keep gaming everyone!
