Gamescom has become a mainstay in the gaming community as a summer event. Those interested in industry news can look forward to it each year, and it’s now been confirmed for 2022. What’s more, the event will return in-person.
Geoff Keighley announced that he would return as the producer and host of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Cologne, Germany, is the venue for the in-person event, and the show will be broadcasted online via the Gamescom Twitch page. You can see the announcement post below:
Users can expect various new game announcements and new content revealed for existing titles this year at Gamescom, along with a few extra surprises, as Keighley is a veteran at keeping the show’s surprises under wraps.
