Microsoft’s Games with Gold program for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will continue in August, shelving last month’s titles for a fresh batch of free games. In August, the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 will both see two games arrive for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Over on the Xbox One, Gold subscribers will get access to Crimson Dragon, originally an Xbox One launch title and spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon. It’s a rail shooter, and a fast-paced one at that. Players can play alone or play with up to three other players for online co-op for dragon-riding battles.
Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut will also be available in August’s Games with Gold. This space simulator allows players to pilot a flying suit in the midst of massive space battles. Both Crimson Dragoon and Strike Suit Zero will be available from August 1-31.
It’s also important to note, that the other Games with Gold titles will be leaving the promotion come August, so you’ve only got a couple of days to pick up Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition.
On the Xbox 360, Games with Gold will offer two completely free, no strings attached games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. August 1-15 will see Motocross Madness available for download. From the 15-31st, Arkane Studios’ award-winning Dishonored is the free game.
