Much like Sony’s PlayStation Plus, Microsoft has established a similar service for their Xbox 360. This service is known as Games with Gold where subscribers with a gold subscription can receive free video games for download. Starting next month, Microsoft will release three free video game downloads.
The reasoning behind the extra video game download is Microsoft is celebrating its one year annviersary of Games with Gold. This June, subscribers with active Gold subscription will receive the following three video games. First up is Dark Souls, Charlie Murder and lastly we have Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.
Current video games up for download on the Xbox 360 is Dust: An Elysian Tail which will be replacing Saint’s Row: The Third. Microsoft’s Games with Gold will be heading to the Xbox One this June as well. Just remember, the two free games available each month will only be available for those who have an active Xbox Live gold subscription.
