A Dungeons and Dragons livestream benefitting Red Nose Day will happen June 18th-20th. Fans of the tabletop roleplaying game were eagerly awaiting a multi-day livestream announcement since May was quiet. The last few years there has been a livestream event in May tied to a new D&D book. However, this year’s COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things. But finally, in late June, there will be a much anticipated stream. It will bring together big names in the Dungeons and Dragons field, television, WWE, and now Game of Thrones.

A handful of cast members from the successful HBO series, based on the book series by George R. R. Martin, will join for a game called D&D’s Cast of Thrones. Dungeon and Dragons’ Kate Welsh will serve as the Dungeon Master. The players will be Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), and Natalia Tena (Osha).

The plot behind the game has been set forth as a band of heroes encountering a creature that sends them on a strange quest within a legendarily dangerous realm. This game will take place on June 20th at 12pm pacific time.

This event is called D&D Live 2020: Roll With Advantage. Instead of coming together in person to play, all the players will be streaming from their own homes. It will raise money for Red Nose Day to benefit children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This Dungeons and Dragons event will not only feature more games, but also special extras. Expect to see big names there such as Chris Perkins, Deborah Ann Woll, Jeremy Crawford, Alexa Bliss, Matthew Lillard, Amy Acker, and more.
