PQube Limited’s successful on-rails first-person shooter Gal*Gun 2 has received brand new DLC that adds an alternative perspective. Owners of the Steam version will now be able to help these unfortunate brainwashed students with the “Pheromone Shot” in virtual reality.

The “VR DLC” also brings back Doki Doki Mode from previous titles, a special game mode where you interact with individual girls in order to make them fall in love with you. There is a particular focus on targetting the euphoria zones specific to each girl.

They have also added support for both Korean and Chinese (Traditional) in game language options making GalGun 2 more accessible than ever before! Minor bug fixes are listed that correct issues with the outfit selection screen as well as other technicalities within GalGun 2.

Gal*Gun 2 publisher PQube Limited are responsible for a wide range of popular titles including motorbiking simulator Ride, anime fighter BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle and popular visual novel Steins;Gate 0. The latter of which spawned a hugely successful anime adaptation of the same name.

This news isn’t too surprising as GalGun developer INTI CREATES showed initial interest in virtual reality back in August 2017 with the release of “GalGun VR”. Virtual reality doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon and has already established itself as both a part of the present and future of gaming.

No intentions to port VR support to other platforms have been announced so far but it’s not out of the question that PlayStation 4 could see this arriving at a later point. After all, INTI CREATES have shown impressive support for Gal*Gun 2 since its announcement just last year.

You can pick up GalGun 2 Doki-Doki VR DLC today on Steam for $6.99, £4.99, €5.99 or your regional equivalent. GalGun 2 itself, available for $44,99 on Steam, and a VR headset of choice are required to play the Doko-Doki VR DLC.
