Co-founder of the ill-fated Fyre Fest, Billy McFarland, pleads with the Bahamian government for the project gone wrong. The Fest was promoted by the likes of Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski.

Although he was convicted of being a con artist and defrauding investors of $27.4 million, the 30-year-old is begging for a chance to amend his wrongs.

He shot a letter of apology to the government of the Bahamas on Monday, following the Prime Minister’s announcement, Chester Cooper. The PM disclosed that the nation doesn’t want anything to do with the conman’s next plan or venture.

The ex-con is planning a treasure hunt in the Bahamas, and the government is trying to avoid a repetition of the Fyre Festival incident. In the letter, the Prime Minister advised the public that the Bahamian government is unaware of any event promoted by him.

Fyre Festival’s Billy McFarland shot out a letter obtained by TMZ to plead with the Bahamian government for his action five years ago. It’s noteworthy that in his letter, he failed to mention what exactly his actions were.

However, McFarland’s crime is general knowledge in the Lucayan Archipelago country. But the government is indemnifying the country for supporting the conman’s venture. The Bahamian government really said, once bitten, twice shy!

In the TMZ-obtained letter, Fyre Fest’s Billy McFarland admitted that he served time after pleading to two counts of wire fraud. The failed event landed him a 6-year sentence in prison.

Now, his main focus, according to him, is how he can right his wrongs. He’s also seeking a chance to make the Bahamas and Family Islands whole again.

The yet-to-be-trusted failed show promoter said he kept contact with his Bahamian folks over time even though his controversy was aired on Hulu. He stated that their generosity and kind hearts have been his constant guide and motivation.

New York-born Billy McFarland of Fyre Festival is teasing another show as he pleads with the Bahamian government. He didn’t give more details on the show, but he’s claiming to be committed by asking for guidance.

He ended his apology to the government by acknowledging the hurt he caused the people of the Bahamas, pledging to spend his life trying to right his wrongs. Billy seems serious about this upcoming show, as he’s been posting several videos about it.

People believe in second chances, but the sky will always be blue, meaning there’s a high chance that he’s yet to repent fully. Whether or not he gets a second chance depends on the Bahamian government.
