The new Warzone bug that’s hiding friends lists is super frustrating for players who want to tag in with their friends. If you’ve noticed that your friend list has been AWOL, here’s how you can fix the issue.

How to make your Warzone friend list appear

The first thing to do is to find out why your friends list is hiding. The easiest solution is to simply turn the game off and on again. We know, we know—but this is enough to make the friends list reappear for a good majority of Warzone players.

If turning it off and on doesn’t work, check your connection settings. When looking at your router, see if it’s actively connected or if you can connect to the internet through other devices. If you’re running into trouble, restart your router.

Once you know for a fact that the router isn’t the issue, check your updates. Usually the game will update automatically, but it’s always good to check because Warzone will lock some general features if your game isn’t up to the latest version. Do this by launching battle.net and right clicking on Warzone. Select the update button to trigger any updates that haven’t yet been downloaded.

Finally, if none of the above steps have solved your issue, you should turn off crossplay. Turning off crossplay can be done in the options menu of the game and is currently the go-to workaround for this bug when nothing else is working.
